Lowney’s – Butter Taffy

Ingredients

  • 1 cup molasses (240ml)
  • 1 cup sugar (approx. 200g)
  • ⅔ cup butter (approx. 152g)
  • ⅔ cup milk (160ml)
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • few grains salt

Method

  1. Cook all ingredients until brittle when tried in cold water.
  2. Pour into hot buttered pans, crease, and cool.
