Coffee Fudge

Ingredients

  • 2 cups granulated sugar (approx. 400g)
  • 1 cup strong boiled coffee (240ml)
  • 1/2 cup cream (120ml)
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (approx. 130g)

Method

  1. Take two cupfuls of granulated sugar, one cupful of strong boiled coffee, one-half cupful of cream and a teaspoonful of butter.
  2. Boil to the soft ball stage, then add a cupful of chopped nut meats, and stir until creamy.
    • The nuts may be omitted if desired.
  3. Pour into pans and cut into squares.
