Consommé with Barley

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons pearl barley
  • 8 cups boiling water (1.9 litres)
  • 2 quarts consommé (1.9 litres)
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Method

  1. Cook barley in boiling water until tender; add salt, reheat in consommé and serve.
