Lowney’s – Chestnut Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter (28g)
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup stock (240ml)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup mashed chestnuts (230g)

Method

  1. Melt butter; add flour and seasonings.
  2. When smooth, add stock; boil five minutes; add chestnuts; reheat and serve.
