Lowney’s – Sour Milk Gingerbread

Ingredients

  • 1 cup molasses (240ml)
  • 1 cup sour milk (240ml)
  • 2 cups flour (approx. 240g)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons ginger
  • 2 teaspoons soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Method

  1. Mix and sift dry ingredients; add remaining ingredients, beat well, pour into buttered pan, and bake twenty to thirty minutes.
